Burress ruled out; Portis still questionable

Giants WR Plaxico Burress has been ruled out of Sunday’s game with the Redskins due to a hamstring injury. Burress attempted to play through the injury last week, but came out of the game after one series.
Giants RB Brandon Jacobs fully participated in Friday’s practice, but remains questionable, while DE Justin Tuck was upgraded to probable after practicing on Friday.
For the Redskins, RB Clinton Portis is listed as questionable as he deals with knee and rib injuries. Coach Jim Zorn said Portis is 50-50 to play Sunday.
