Warner set up for big payday

If Arizona wins in Philadelphia tonight and clinches its first division title since 1975, Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner also will be a big winner.
Warner’s contract calls for him to earn a $500,000 incentive if the Cardinals play on wild-card weekend and a $1 million incentive for the Cardinals to play on divisional-playoff weekend.
By winning the NFC West title, the Cardinals would be assured of playing in at least one of those rounds, possibly both, and Warner would make additional money.
Of course, he also profits in other ways as well. Warner will make $1.5 million for playing in the conference championship game, $2 million for playing in the Super Bowl and $3 million for winning the Super Bowl.
But the Cardinals capped out those incentives at $2.5 million, so some of the other ones would become moot points if Arizona can keep scoring points and winning games.
