Steelers DBs latest to feel disrespected

NFL players, by and large, often feel disrespected. A new group of players emerge every season, claiming that they don’t get enough respect, almost reaching epidemic levels. The latest to join this expanding group? The Steelers defensive backs. Pittsburgh will be playing the high-scoring Patriots this week, and the defensive backs feel like they are being overlooked.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is trying to fix the problem by giving the Steelers defensive backs the credit they believe they deserve.

“Our secondary doesn’t get the credit it deserves,” said cornerback Ike Taylor. “It’s usually all about our linebackers. That’s two years in a row we’ve been No. 1 and we still don’t get the credit.” MORE
