Colts to have to continue to do without Lilja

Indianapolis has made due without its fine guard Ryan Lilja throughout this season, and it will have no choice but to continue to do so.

On the last day the Colts could activate Lilja to their 53-man roster, Indianapolis opted to leave him on the Physically Unable to Perform list, making him ineligible to play this season.

Lilja has been battling a knee injury that forced him to miss the season’s first 11 games, and now will force him out of the final fie. With hopes of playing this season dashed, Lilja now is scheduled to undergo surgery on the knee.
