Something is not right with Colts safety Bob Sanders, who didn’t even make the trip to San Diego for Sunday night’s game versus the Chargers due to his knee injury, the Colts confirmed.
The NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year will not play Sunday night and the fact that he didn’t travel to San Diego suggests he might not be as close to playing as the Colts would like.
The Colts’ defense never is the same without Sanders. It consistently allows more yards and more points. Indianapolis has gotten by without Sanders some this season, but it is not going to be easy to do as it tries to put together one more push to reach the postseason.
