NFL Network aired the second portion of Deion Sanders’ interview with Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys during NFL GameDay Morning on Sunday. Here are a few of the highlights from the interview:
- “Oh yeah, we’ll make the playoffs. I will say we will make the playoffs if we remain healthy. If we remain healthy, we will make the playoffs. If there are no setbacks at the QB position, we’ll make the playoffs.”
- “The thing is, if [Jason] Garrett is smart enough to know what made me successful all those years, he’ll go back and look at San Francisco and Philly. The difference is, I was a priority. You can say that. But when its not happening on the field its evident. There are some games I’ve been open. There is so much pressure on the QB. But then again, Its not like I can’t play.”
- “Its gonna come. The thing is people see that. When I get my hands on the ball, things happen. I can’t throw it and catch it, I can only do one thing. And talking to my coach Ray Sherman, he knows I’m frustrated. He just tells me, ‘Do what you can do, run your routes be ready.'”
