Fantasy RBs Portis, Westbrook to be active

NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Brian Westbrook (ankle, knee) and Clinton Portis (knee) will both be active in Week 12. Westbrook didn’t practice all week and should be at least somewhat rested, but his recent lack of production and a tough matchup in Baltimore makes him a risk-reward fantasy option.

Portis, who did have some limited work in Friday’s practice, is a must-start in Seattle.

Schefter also reports that Brandon Jacobs (knee) and Roddy White (back) will be active, as well. Jacobs could be a risk in fantasy leagues, however, as the Giants could limit his carries with Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw also in the mix. White is a must-start against the Panthers at the Georgie Dome.

Cadillac Williams is also active, but his carries could be limited in his return from a serious knee ailment. Look for Warrick Dunn to see most of the workload in Detroit. He’s an attractive No. 2 fantasy runner.
