Cowher-to-Browns rumors have no teeth

While rumors persist that former Steelers coach Bill Cowher could wind up in Cleveland, those close to Cowher insist the speculation has no teeth. None.
Cowher continues to tell his friends he is not ready to coach in 2009, something he has maintained for months. At no time has ever appeared to waver. Washington dangled a lucrative offer in front of Cowher nearly a year ago and he never budged.
Come 2010, Cowher could well be back on the clock, particularly if it is a job closer to his home in Raleigh, N.C. But it is not happening with Cleveland in 2009.
