Owens stands by criticism of Cowboys’ offense

In an interview with Deion Sanders aired on the NFL Network Thursday, Terrell Owens stated that the decline in his numbers were the result of the Cowboys’ offense. On Friday, Owens stood by his comments, even encouraging reporters to watch additional segments of the interview on Sunday morning on NFL Network’s GameDay Morning.

“When pressed about his problems with the offense, Owens said it lacks flexibility and that defenses have caught up to coordinator Jason Garrett’s scheme,” writes Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News. “Owens said the Cowboys have not made the necessary adjustments to combat what teams are doing to stop him.” More.
