Fantasy owners should have Hixon ready

Plaxico Burress sat out Thursday’s practice with a hamstring injury that coach Tom Coughlin developed “overnight and into today.” Whatever that means. Was he felled by the same McDonald’s bag that got Brandon Marshall earlier this year? Did he slip while washing Jeff Kent‘s truck?
Burress played in pain last year, putting up huge fantasy numbers on one leg, but have some backups ready. Domenik Hixon would likely get the start if Burress is unable to go and could be a viable option for players who need receiver help this week. The Giants and Cardinals could get into a shootout in the desert, meaning a lot of targets for Hixon.
