Redskins RB Clinton Portis did not practice Wednesday, but quickly ended any speculation about what he thought his playing status would be on Sunday against the Seahawks.
“I am playing this week and there are no if, ands or buts about it,” Portis said. “I will be playing.”
Portis, who played in a Week 11 loss to the Cowboys despite being listed as questionable with a sprained knee, was able to rush for 68 yards on 15 carries although he was bothered by the injury.
“I tried not to notice it,” Portis said. “I didn’t have leg drive. … When you talk about breaking tackles and having a burst of speed, I didn’t have it. That is what I am working on this week.”
Redskins coach Jim Zorn was less adament, telling Redskins.com that Portis would again be a game-time decision.
