Believe it: Cardinals closing in on playoffs

The old Cardinals might not have made it out of the last two games with wins. But in this new era, the Cardinals are dominating the NFC West and could have the division wrapped up by Thanksgiving. Arizona Republic columnist Dan Bickley says that it might not always be the prettiest performance, but what matters is getting the win.

    It’s never easy and rarely pretty, but the Cardinals took another step up the ladder of credibility and maturity on Sunday. They won their third road game of the season, prevailing in a hostile environment. They have positioned themselves to absorb losses in their next two games without much collateral damage. And while there wasn’t a bottle of champagne in sight, the Cardinals effectively may have clinched their first NFC West title with a 26-20 win over the Seahawks. MORE
