Miami likes to list players on its injury report as much as it likes to deactivate them. But there was an interesting name added to Miami’s injury report Saturday — Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington with a foot injury.

The report says Pennington is probable for today’s game against the Raiders, but no one knows how the Dolphins quarterback hurt his foot, how serious it is and whether it will affect his performance today — if he even plays.

Miami and Bill Parcells can be mysterious about these types of situations and the only way to truly know is at game time, once the ball is kicked off and Miami’s offense trots on to the field.

Then everyone will know the extent of Pennington’s vague foot injury.
