Some good news for Redskins

Even with a slew of injuries, Washington is assured of having at least a dose of good injury news.
Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor will play Sunday night against the Cowboys, despite having a calf injury that landed him on the injury report as probable. Taylor is telling people this is the best he has felt since June.
More surprisingly, Washington cornerback Shawn Springs also will play despite being listed as questionable with a calf injury.
The key question centers around Redskins running back Clinton Portis, who is listed as questionable with a knee injury. Portis plans to test the knee in pre-game warm-ups. If he is not more than 75 percent healed, Redskins coach Jim Zorn plans to deactivate his running back and start Ladell Betts, who is making his way back from a knee injury. But Washington could not say Sunday morning whether it would have Portis on Sunday night.
