No 4 p.m. game? That’s just fine for Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh probably is thrilled at the idea of a short work week and the chance to play on NFL Network on Thursday night. It beats the alternative of playing a late game Sunday.
In games that have kicked off in the 4 p.m. hour during Mike Tomlin’s tenure as Steelers head coach, Pittsburgh has posted a putrid 0-7 mark, including last Sunday’s crushing home loss to the Colts.
In other Sunday games not starting in the 4-o’clock hour under Tomlin, Pittsburgh has posted a 7-1 record. And in Sunday or Monday night games, Tomlin is 9-1.
So get Tomlin and the Steelers out of the 4 p.m. time slot, and all is good.
