When Ravens WR Demetrius Williams suffered a season-ending knee injury, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron looked for someone to step in to help Baltimore’s offense stay on track.
He found him.
Edward Lee of the Baltimore Sun reports that Yamon Figurs has filled in nicely, hauling in a 43-yards TD pass in last week’s 41-13 drubbing of the Houston Texans. With Ravens leading receiver Derrick Mason a game-time decision against the Giants, Figurs might see more reps on Sunday.
“During practice yesterday, Figurs lined up opposite fellow wide receiver Mark Clayton on the first offense,” Lee writes. “Figurs said he hopes to make a contribution or two to the team’s passing attack on Sunday.” More
