Dolphins coach Tony Sparano noticed that there was something different about running back Ricky Williams. He saw Williams strut around the practice field.
And he wasn’t the only one who noticed.
Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald reports that vice president of football operations Bill Parcells and GM Jeff Ireland saw it, too.
“The group started to spot the swagger when Sparano installed a few plays in practice that were specifically designed for Williams to thrive in,” writes Darlington. “It all ultimately foreshadowed the best game of his season, a 105-yard performance Sunday.” More
