Bucs’ Clark finally gets chance to shine

Wide Receiver Brian Clark has been with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for more than a year, but he’s only been promoted to the active roster twice.

He’s hoping the second time is the charm. Anwar S. Richardson of the Tampa Tribune reports that the door opened for Clark when WR Maurice Stovall was placed on injured reserve. He’s is looking to contribute on special teams and will likely be the Bucs’ fifth receiver.

“He spent most of 2007 on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, and he was active for only three games this season, but Clark might finally have a permanent NFL home,” writes Richardson. More
