WR/KR Jennings joins winless Lions

In one other notable waiver wire move, the talent-needy Detroit Lions claimed former Atlanta wide receiver/return man Adam Jennings. Seattle and Minnesota also put in claims for Jennings, but Detroit, with its winless record, has first dibs on every player that now goes on waivers. Thus, Jennings is a Lion.
And what a turn of events that is. Jennings goes from a team poised to make the playoffs to a team trying to stave off the first 0-16 season in NFL history. That’ s a tough week.
