A few updates on the notable injuries and practice updates from around the league following the release of Wednesday’s official injury reports:
- Ravens WR Derrick Mason, who suffered a dislocated shoulder in Week 10, did not practice on Wednesday.
- The winless Lions had six starters, including five on the defensive side of the ball, sit out practice on Wednesday: DE Jared DeVries (hand), C Dominic Raiola (hand), DT Cory Redding (groin), LB Ernie Sims (shoulder), S Dwight Smith (foot) and DE Dewayne White (calf).
- The Jaguars held out DT John Henderson (knee), WR Matt Jones (thigh), CB Rashean Mathis (foot) and RB Fred Taylor (neck) on Wednesday. Jones was injured last week and missed most of the second half, although coach Jack Del Rio indicated none of the injuries suffered last week were serious.

- Patriots RB Sammy Morris (knee) took part in a limited portion of practice for the second straight day on Wednesday, while RB LaMont Jordan (calf) was held out again. Morris, along with G Stephen Neal (knee) and DE Ty Warren (groin), is listed as questionable for Thursday night against the Jets.
- Redskins coach Jim Zorn indicated that CB Shawn Springs, who has missed four of the last five games with a calf injury, expects to return to practice tomorrow and play in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.
