Rogers among Browns’ ailing veterans

Amid speculation and comments by the Browns that players quit during last week’s loss to the Broncos, the team returns to the practice field today without several key veterans. Coach Romeo Crennel said starting NT Shaun Rogers (neck), G Eric Steinbach (ribs), FB Lawrence Vickers (ankle) and DE Corey Williams (shoulder), along with reserve TE Darnell Dinkins (ribs), will miss practice Wednesday, according to the team’s official site.

Crennel said Steinbach and Vickers, who did not play last week, have not been ruled out against the Bills on Monday night.
