Raiders claim CB Miller off waivers

What was whispered about Wednesday morning became a fact Wednesday evening.
Three teams — Oakland, Denver and Miami — put in waiver claims for former Jets cornerback Justin Miller, whom New York released on Tuesday.
By virtue of record, Oakland was awarded Miller’s services. Now Oakland gets to replace former cornerback DeAngelo Hall with Miller, who won the NFL’s Fastest Man competition at the one Pro Bowl he was voted to.
Once Miller won that race, he ran right into the sights of Raiders owner Al Davis, who is enamored with speed. And that speed led the Raiders to claim Miller.
