While it remains to be seen how many plays CB Ty Law will see against the Patriots on Thursday Night, Jets coach Eric Mangini had a favorable review on Wednesday of the five-time Pro Bowler’s debut after re-joining the team with a one-year contract.

“He looked spry,” Mangini said of Law’s first practice on Tuesday. “He got a decent amount of reps. He didn’t seem to be too winded. He has been doing a lot of work, it’s different than the change-of-direction and the football-specific stuff, but considering where he’s starting from, I think we’re very good.”

The Jets held a walk-through practice on Wednesday before leaving for New England. Newyorkjets.com has more on Law’s return.
