L.J. to return in Week 11

Chiefs coach Herman Edwards announced that troubled RB Larry Johnson will return to action this week against the Saints. He’s missed the last four games as a result of a number of negative off-field incidents.
While it will be nice to have him back in your fantasy lineup, Johnson shouldn’t be seen as a savior. The offense has found a new identity with QB Tyler Thigpen under center, averaging 23.3 points per game.
The Chiefs have also been more competitive, losing their last three games by a combined eight points.
Johnson will see his share of the workload, but Kansas City will continue to throw the football while Thigpen is hot. The veteran does have some nice matchups against the Saints, Raiders and Broncos on the upcoming schedule, but Johnson should still be seen as no more than a No. 2 fantasy runner.
