Weirdness in Detroit

For some reason, Drew Stanton replaced Daunte Culpepper in an offensive series near the goal line. He threw a touchdown pass to John Owens to put the Lions ahead of the Jaguars, 7-3.
No word on whether or not Culpepper was injured, but he looked fine on the sidelines.
Culpepper might not have a full grasp of the Lions offense, but it’s odd that he was in there near the goal line in the previous set of downs. Maybe the Lions are utilizing a quarterback by committee approach.
In Miami, Ricky Williams just broke a 51-yard touchdown run out of the wildcat formation against Seattle.
