A year after going 1-15, the Dolphins are 4-4, just a game behind the AFC East leaders and threatening to be Florida’s latest worst-to-first success story.

That has many NFL people buzzing about the Dolphins halfway through the season, writes Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

“If you told me in June they would be 4-4 and beaten New England, San Diego, Buffalo and Denver, I’d say, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,’” CBS insider and former NFL general manager Charley Casserly told The Herald. “More importantly, they’ve established a mind-set of how they will play — a physical and mental toughness.” MORE
