It’s official: Culpepper signs with Lions

Daunte Culpepper‘s brief retirement has officially come to an end.

The Detroit Lions announced on Tuesday that they have signed Culpepper to a two-year deal. No other terms of his contact were disclosed.

Culpepper, a three-time Pro Bowler (2001, 2004 and 2005), brings his veteran experience of nine previous NFL seasons and his productivity to the Lions quarterback position. He arrives in Detroit after spending the 2007 season with Oakland, 2006 with Miami and the first seven seasons of his career with Minnesota.
