Browns bench Anderson; Quinn to start

The Cleveland Browns have benched Derek Anderson in favor of Brady Quinn for Thursday night’s NFL Network game against the Broncos. The move gives Quinn sudden value in seasonal fantasy leagues.

He has a ton of potential and knows the offense inside and out, so he could come in and make an instant impact. What’s more, Quinn’s first start comes against a Denver defense that ranks 27th against the pass.

With quarterbacks dropping like flies around the NFL, Quinn will be a hot name on the waiver wire. As for Anderson, he’ll be hard pressed to re-claim his job and can now be released in most fantasy leagues.
