Pittman to start; Torain to see carries

NFL Network’s Adam Schefter reports that Michael Pittman, who is listed as questionable, will start against the Dolphins. However, rookie Ryan Torain will see his share of the carries in his regular-season debut.

If Torain shows that he can handle the workload, coach Mike Shanahan could give him a greater role in Week 10 against the Browns. Pittman and Torain should be seen as flex starters this week, but Torain’s upside makes him the better fantasy option down the road. He should be added in all leagues if available.

Adam also reports that Michael Bennett will start in the absence of Warrick Dunn, who is dealing with an injured back and didn’t make the trip to Kansas City. If you’re desperate for a runner or flex starter, Bennett could be a sleeper based on the favorable matchup.

Of course, Earnest Graham will also see plenty of carries as well.
