Rams RB Steven Jackson continued to get work in during the team’s second day of practice on Thursday, prompting coach Jim Haslett to say Jackson felt “a lot better” as he battles a thigh injury. The favorable news on Jackson comes just one day after Haslett referred to him as a “question mark” for Sunday’s game against Arizona.
Haslett said Jackson, who will again be a game-time decision, will be evaluated following today’s practice and again in the morning before determining if he will practice on Friday.
“You don’t know if you go too hard Friday, will it tweak it and frustrate things,” said Jackson. “If I had to tweak it, I’d rather tweak it in a game than in a Friday practice.”
Jackson, who says he is not yet 100 percent, has been taking part in team drills and was able to run pass routes and work with the offense on running plays against the scout team.
“I’m practicing to play, if that tells you anything,” said Jackson.
The official injury report for Thursday’s session has not been released yet.
