Packers coach Mike McCarthy sounded encouraged on Thursday about the progress of QB Aaron Rodgers and his injured right shoulder. McCarthy said during his press conference that Rodgers had his best day throwing the ball since spraining the shoulder a month ago.
“He looks great,” said McCarthy.
McCarthy said Rodgers would get some light work during practice on Friday, and would continue to be evaluated leading up to Sunday’s game against the undefeated Tennessee Titans.
Rodgers said after practice on Wednesday that the injury felt “a little better” — but he didn’t proclaim it fully healed.
