Don’t count on Chiefs’ RB Johnson

Good news on Larry Johnson. He returned to practice on Wednesday. Of course, the downside was that he was practicing on the scout team. Funny, imagine if somebody told you at the beginning of last year that Earnest Graham would be a better fantasy option than Johnson. And not only that, Johnson would be playing Graham on the scout team prior to the Chiefs’ game against the Buccaneers.
Adam Schefter wonders if Johnson will ever be back this season. Hey, you knew you were taking a risk when you drafted him.
Backup Jamaal Charles was limited in practice on Wednesday, leaving Kolby Smith as the only healthy option right now. Charles is the better long-term answer, but Smith could work in a pinch if you need a bye-week replacement for Frank Gore or something.
