Some stats are so good they must be shared — like the one that ran in Wednesday’s New York Times, which pointed out that six of the seven quarterbacks to start against the 0-7 Lions have set career highs for passer rating.
The Times noted that the only one who didn’t, Minnesota’s Gus Frerotte, wound up passing for 301 yards. But here’s the list:
Week 1: Matt Ryan, Falcons 137.0
9-of-13, 161 yards, 1 TD (first career start)
——————————–
Week 2: Aaron Rodgers, Packers 117.0
24-of-38, 328 yards, 3 TDs
——————————–
Week 3: J.T. O’Sullivan, 49ers, 123.3
16-of-23, 189 yards, 2 TDs
——————————–
Week 5: Kyle Orton, Bears 121.4
24-of-34, 334 yards, 2 TDs

Week 7: Matt Schaub, Texans 124.1
