Dependable Collins has exceeded expectations

The unbeaten Titans are atop the AFC and looking stronger than ever after Monday night’s win over the Colts.

So when did they begin to look like Super Bowl Contenders? David Climer of The Tennessean says it happened in the middle of September.

“On Sept. 15, Coach Jeff Fisher announced that Kerry Collins would be the No. 1 quarterback until further notice,” Climer writes. “It may go down as the best call of Fisher’s coaching career.
