Bucs’ Phillips out indefinitely with forearm injury

Bucs coach Jon Gruden confirmed Wednesday that starting SS Jermaine Phillips will not play against the Chiefs on Sunday due to a left forearm injury he sustained last week against the Cowboys. Gruden said the Bucs would address the injury following the team’s bye in Week 10, but that Phillips is not expected to be placed on injured reserve. Sabby Piscitelli, who replaced Phillips against the Cowboys, will take over as the starter, according to Buccaneers.com.
