Mike Singletary goes off, and suddenly the 49ers are relevent again.
Singletary’s first postgame news conference as coach of the 49ers made a 2-6 team instantly relevant for the fervor and fury of his impassioned remarks on the state of his squad, writes John Crumpacker of the San Francisco Chronicle.
“That’s my personality,” Singletary said a day after his postgame tirade was broadcast on repeat on many sports channels. “I don’t talk a whole lot but when I am talking, I do know what I feel. What you see now, that is what I am. That’s not going to change any time soon.” MORE
