Decisions loom for Johnson, Wilfork

After NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wrapped up a busy day of meetings with Chiefs running back Larry Johnson and Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, an NFL official said there would be no disciplinary action announced tonight.
Pressed if there could be an announcement Wednesday, the official declined comment. But clearly, suspensions are viable options on both players, and word could come as early as Wednesday morning. Typically, the league likes to suspend its players before teams begin installing their game plans at Wednesday’s practice. But Johnson and Wilfork each are on the clock, as word could come down at any time.
That time will not be Tuesday. But it could be Wednesday.
