Jackson should be back in Week 9

Rams coach Jim Haslett told reporters at his Monday press conference that Steven Jackson “should be ready to go” in Week 9, when the Rams play host to the Arizona Cardinals.

Jackson was unable to play against the Patriots due to an injured quadriceps.

This is good news for fantasy leaguers who have Jackson, but it still makes sense to add Antonio Pittman as insurance. He fared well in his start in New England, rushing for 83 yards and adding 22 yards as a receiver out of the backfield.
