Rams RB Jackson out vs. Patriots

If St. Louis is going to upset New England, it is going to have to do so without running back Steven Jackson.

Listed as questionable on this week’s injury report with a thigh injury, Jackson attempted to play in pregame warm-ups, but decided against it.

Now the Rams will have to lean on running backs Antonio Pittman andr Travis Minor.

Of course the Patriots have their own running back issues. Neither Sammy Morris nor LaMont Jordan will play due to injury, and New England will have to lean on Kevin Faulk, Heath Evans and rookie BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
