Injury update: Witten out for Cowboys

Cowboys TE Jason Witten left Sunday’s game against the Bucs during the second quarter with a rib injury and did not return. The Cowboys used rookie TE Martellus Bennett and Tony Curtis in Witten’s place. Cowboys CB Anthony Henry has also left the game with a quad injury and did not return.

  • Falcons DE Jamal Anderson left Sunday’s game during the first half with an undisclosed injury and did not return during the second half. Anderson, who limped off the field under his own power, was replaced by DE Simon Fraser.
  • Bills WR Josh Reed left Sunday’s game against Miami due to a strained Achilles. Rookie WR Kevin Hardy has replaced Reed, who appeared to be injured during the second quarter.
  • Chargers CB Quentin Jammer suffered an undisclosed injury near the end of the third quarter against the Saints and was replaced by CB Cletis Gordon.
  • The Falcons lost starting LT Todd Weiner to an undisclosed injury. Weiner, who was starting for rookie LT Sam Baker, was replaced by OT Quinn Ojinnaka and did not return.
