Redskins cornerback Shawn Springs will get some extra time to rest his injured calf this week while an injured shoulder will sideline starting tackle Cornelius Griffin. Pro Bowl DE Jason Taylor didn’t practice Thursday or Friday and rushing leader Clinton Portis was limited but both are expected to play Sunday vs. the Lions.
