Westbrook closer to return; Curtis expected to start

The Philadelphia Eagles are finally getting healthy on the offensive side of the football.
Brian Westbrook (ribs) practiced on Thursday and appears set to start against the Falcons. That’s music to the hears of fantasy leaguers who have missed him in recent weeks.
Coach Andy Reid also confirmed on Wednesday that DeSean Jackson will continue to start at flanker when Reggie Brown returns from a groin injury. Kevin Curtis, who is not listed on the Week 8 injury report, is expected to make his first start of the season after missing the first seven weeks of the season due to a sports hernia.
A former 1,000-yard receiver, Curtis should now be owned in all leagues with 12-plus teams.
All of this is tremendous news for Donovan McNabb, who suddenly has a solid arsenal of weapons at his disposal. He’s a solid option this week against Atlanta, which fields one of the league’s worst pass defenses.
