Morris, Jordan both miss practice

Sammy Morris (knee) and LaMont Jordan (calf) were unable to practice on Thursday, creating speculation that both could be listed as questionable or worse for this week’s game against the Rams.
With Laurence Maroney on injured reserve and out for the season, Morris had become a hot asset in all fantasy leagues. But if he and Jordan are unable to play this weekend as reported by Adam Schefter, Kevin Faulk and Benjarvus Green-Ellis would become valuable options off the waiver wire.
Green-Ellis was a virtual unknown until his impressive performance on Monday night in the absence of Morris. He would be the favorite to start in a worst-case scenario, while Faulk would see more work on passing downs. The Pats might even use fullback Heath Evans in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
