Chargers, Saints acclimating to London

The Chargers and Saints have hit London, and London has hit them with the dreary, windy, chilly conditions for which the city is known.
“We got a little bit of weather today; a little wind, a little colder,” Chargers coach Norv Turner told reporters at the Pennyhill Park Hotel outside London. “Our guys, being from San Diego, were acting like we were in a snow storm early.”
It is these types of conditions that both teams prepped for. Saints coach Sean Payton even reached out to coaches he knows and competes with for advice.
“I spoke to (New York Giants coach) Tom Coughlin really as much as anything for what he did the week after he was here,” Payton said, referring to the Giants trip to London last year, when they beat the Dolphins. “They were on the bye and I was curious as to how he handled it.”
Payton declared running back Reggie Bush out of Sunday’s game; Turner rested Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who has been battling a nagging hip injury.
