Romo looks to get healthy by Redskins game

O.K., so now we’re back to where we were last Monday, when the news of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo‘s fractured pinkie first broke.
He is out four to five weeks. As initially reported.
As Romo sat in front of his locker Wednesday, the Cowboys quarterback confirmed that he will not play Sunday at home against Tampa, nor the following Sunday at the New York Giants. After the Cowboys play the Giants, they have a bye week before traveling to Washington to play the Redskins.
“The idea now is to get it healthy by that bye week,” Romo admitted.
And if that happens, Romo will have missed three games while trying to return in time for the game against the Redskins.
It will mean the initial reports were right on — and the speculation that followed was rather worthless.
