Saints stars to play vs. Panthers

New Orleans might have the league’s most explosive offense. And it is adding more firepower today at Carolina against the Panthers.

Three injured Saints — running back Reggie Rush (knee), wide receiver Marques Colston (thumb) and tight end Jeremy Shockey (hernia) — will play today at Carolina. One Saints official even said he expects all three players to start.

Each was listed as probable on Friday’s injury report, but the Saints feel good enough about each player’s recovery to expect a contribution out of them against the Panthers.
