Bengals rookie LB Rivers done for season

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said following Sunday’s 38-10 loss to the Steelers that rookie LB Keith Rivers is done for the season after suffering a broken jaw.

Rivers was injured when he was hit hard from the side on a block by Steelers WR Hines Ward. He was replaced by LB Brandon Johnson and never returned to the game. Rivers, the ninth overall pick in last year’s draft, started all seven games for the Bengals this season.
