Montana will appear on ‘the Simpsons’

What do Troy Aikman, Tom Brady and Joe Namath all have in common?

All three won Super Bowls, earned Super Bowl MVP awards and have made guest appearances on the Simpsons.

Joe Montana will join that elite group Sunday, Oct. 19 (on FOX at 8 p.m. ET).

Other NFL stars that have made an appearance on the Simpsons include former Dolphins QB Dan Marino, former Buccaneers and Raiders DT Warren Sapp, former Rams and Giants defensive lineman Rosey Grier, and announcers John Madden and Pat Summerall.
