Following Sunday’s game, the Saints and Chargers each will be leaving for London, where they will arrive early Monday morning.
The Saints are staying at The Grove, in Hertfordshire, England, site of the 2006 World Golf Championships that Tiger Woods won. They will spend the week practicing on the fields usually reserved for The Arsenal of The Premier Soccer League. Some of The Arsenal’s players might even take part in a practice with the Saints.
The Chargers have some of their own fun planned. They are staying at the Pennhill Park Hotel and Spa in Surrey, and on Friday night, the entire Chargers organization is going on a boat tour of the River Thames.
Each team will have a walkthrough practice at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, before playing Sunday and returning to the States immediately after the game.
