Action Jackson injures quadriceps

Steven Jackson hurt his quadriceps muscle late in Sunday’s win over the Cowboys.
“We’re not sure if he pulled a quad,’’ coach Jim Haslett said in his post-game presser. “He will be getting an MRI in the morning. Hopefully it is not too severe.’’
This is something fantasy leaguers need to keep close tabs on. If Jackson were forced out of action for any period of time, it would be a devastating blow.
Travis Minor saw all the carries behind Jackson and appears to be the best handcuff option, but Antonio Pittman is reportedly close to returning from an injured leg.
Again, this is a situation to monitor.
